I used to be with virgin media.
And the wifi connection to our phones , Samsung A40 & Samsung S9 was great, along with great connection to Amazon alexa.
We have since left virgin and gone with sky. And our wifi to phone connection is terrible , it constantly drops and is intermittent.
But connects to Alexa that's furthest away from router just fine.
Rang sky loads of times and tried everything. Anyone got a clue, plz plz help

To start have you forgotten the network within the WiFi settings and reset it back up.
Sometimes if the router allows it you can split the frequency to 2.4ghz and 5ghz , name them differently i.e 2.4ghz and 5ghz and then choose the best one for connection.
