Have you tried another email app to see if that does what you want @Elljay23 ?

The widely implemented standard, that I've seen elsewhere, for showing linked pictures in emails, is to remember, by sender (and not per your receiver account), whether you want to allow automatic picture downloads. The reason is to preserve the privacy of your email address for unsolicited and spam emails. Managing mobile data downloads is also important.
So, per sender, options would be:
• Never (untrusted sender)
• Ask each time
• Always (automatic)
The default should be to Ask each time.
Hope Samsung will bring their email app up to this recognised standard in a future update soon.
(As a Samsung phone user who generally regards the Samsung apps to be pretty solid, I'm puzzled that this basic privacy is still missing. Should not have to go looking for another email app!)
