This is a Google change not one ui7 so no it cannot be moved at this time

I think yes, there should be an option to use in both home and apps. Just select on home screen

I keep reading on these forums that the search bar being placed at the bottom of the app drawer is Google's doing. That's incorrect as the search bar on Google's pixel phones is at the top of the app draw. One Ui home is Samsung's custom launcher so they can put the search bar at the top or the bottom or make it removable. If it bothers anybody that much you could try one of the many custom launchers available.

I believe for those unhappy with certain Android 15 changes, maybe they give Google feedback about what they dislike because Google makes the design. Thankfully you can customise with Samsung, but not everything.
