Samsung notes: how can I permanently stop this app from running in the background please? I never use it and it uses storage I need. Samsung galaxy A3 2017

Just hold it for few seconds and then you will option will pop up

Nope ☹, all that does is remove the icon from the home screen, plus it says I can't disable Samsung notes. So frustrating.

remove it from home screen and try from the app pages

I can't remove from the apps page. I can only uninstall updates. It doesn't let me disable it and even if I choose "force stop" it wakes up again and runs in bkgnd. Thanks for trying to help.

Delete cache and data then try force stop
