Samsung notes: how can I permanently stop this app from running in the background please? I never use it and it uses storage I need. Samsung galaxy A3 2017

You can put the app on deep sleep.

How do I do that plse? I use "force stop" but it runs in bkgnd again regardless.

Please go settings and click on battery and device care and click on battery and then go to background usage limits and add samsung notes to deep sleeping

So clear thank you but ..... it's pre installed bloatware and it's not on any list I can add from 🙁

If you don't want to use the app simply uninstall it

On mine I can add it on, not sure why u can't

There is no option to uninstall the app only updates; would that get rid of it ?

No, me neither. It only lists apps I've downloaded not pre installed ones.
