I own a Samsung A52s 5g 128 GB. This happened sometime during yesterday, I usually charge my phone during the night and take it off in the morning. Though however after after I noticed it had been going low on battery sometime during the evening, around 20:00 to be specific which is normal since I had been using it a lot through out the day, I plugged it in and it just wouldn't charge, thought it was my charger so I tried a different one, still nothing. So I searched a few things up on my laptop and it said to clean it out which I did but still nothing, I ran the diagnostic test and it detected nothing. Is there anything I can do? This phone is still new barely just 2 years old and I don't want to buy a new one since I have other plans for my money.

@Daniiels Do the chargers fit snugly into the charging port? Is there any damage to your phone or the charging port?

Yes, they do. The only damage I know is a scratch on the screen that is barely visible, I'm not sure about internal damage or any on the charging port and I do not know how to check, there's never been any charging issues or any issues for that matter before.

@Daniiels I'd recommend having this inspected by an engineer who can take a deeper look into this. You can arrange this via our Customer Services via Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, they are open 9am to 9pm Monday to Sunday, or alternatively via 0333 000 0333, they are open 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday, then 9am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday. i had exactly the same thing with my A52. At first I couldn't discover anything wrong with my charging port. However, when I compared it with my son's A52S, I noticed that completely at the bottom of the USB-C port, there was a built-up of pocket lint.
I had to use a flashlight to discover the difference.
I used a wooden toothpick, which I had to split in length because it was too thick otherwise.
I took my time to "peel off" all the layers which had built up over 2 years.
After finishing I realised that a how much pocket lint had collected in there. I noticed that the plug could enter deeper in the USB-C port.
If completely clean, you should be able to see at the bottom of the USB-C port 4 metal connectors (1 in each corner)
Hope this is of any help to you!
PS I apologise that I most probably do not use the correct technical terms
