Samsung A14 5G touchscreen doesn't work anymore after update to One UI 7.0

after updating my A14 5G to One UI 7.0, my touchcreen doesn't work at all anymore. 

How to fix this?

Thanks for all the suggestions! And sad to hear I'm not the only one.

I tried all the workarrounds but they didn't help. I bought a new lcd screen but with zero effect. Eventually, I gave up and decided to buy a new phone. Frustrating but one needs a phone right?

Update, I have found a workaround but not a fix.  

Unlocking the phone with fingerprint meant I never knew if the touchscreen would respond or not, and then I would spend ages turning the screen on and off with the side button while looking at the last screen I accessed, unable to do anything. 

• So when it came back, I went into settings and turned off "unlock with fingerprint". I now unlock with  PIN  every time, and when I do so, the touchscreen continues to work until the phone goes to sleep.   I have also extended my screen timeout to delay it going to sleep for 10 minutes instead of 30 seconds.  Yesterday I was able to use the phone quite consistently after making these changes.

I've done that at least 6 times today. I'm losing my rag with this phone...

After 3 weeks of annoyance, I've ordered a new (non Samsung) phone.. Samsung loss (plus my pocket i guess!)

I think I may have cracked it....I scheduled an auto restart last night and my phone has been so much better today. I haven't had to force shut down once. Everyone try it! Good luck!
