Just bought new phone.  On my previous Samsung I was able to have different notification tones for WhatsApp,  messages and emails. Now it may be that I'm getting old and new technology is beyond me by I can't fathom how to set this new phone in the same way. Anyone able to tell me how to set different tones for each of these three?

Hi @MockOrange  Assuming you are on Android 11.  To set Notifications tones for the various apps go to Settings-Apps and set the required tone for the appropriate app. you can also do it via  SettingsNotifications  but select Detailed. 

For instance for Messages select New Messages,ensure Alert is selected,tap Sound and pick your preferred option.

For whatsapp  tap show Notifications, again ensure Alert is selected  and tap sound to pick preference.

For emails tap New Emails,ensure Alert selected , tap Sound and pick your choice.
