Looking for any suggestions re BBC Sounds on a Galaxy A52S - I usually use it through a Bluetooth speaker while I'm doing the kids' breakfast on school mornings
Following a couple of Samsung system updates over the Xmas holiday, it no longer stays awake with the screen off - times out after a couple of minutes, comes back on when you press the power button to wake up the lock screen. (App has "keep phone awake" listed in the permissions, other audio apps through the same speaker don't show this behaviour, BBC app used not to do this before Xmas.) Having to intervene every two minutes makes the app useless on this device.
I've tried turning Pause activity when unused to Off in the App settings, and setting Battery use to Unrestricted; I've tried adding BBC Sounds to the list of Never sleeping apps in Battery settings; I've uninstalled & reinstalled the app, and asked the BBC for help. No joy so far - app still unusable.
