Galaxy A SeriesHI @summerski I have not found this happening and tried a few phrases with up, however certainly agree that it requires some investigation. Do not know if it is a particular issue with your device, though I have not used the A series myself.
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.
My Device- S21 Ultra 5G ( SM-998B/DS ) CSC= BTU , 12GB/256GB
One Ui 5.0,Android 13 .

Galaxy A SeriesAre you using the default Samsung keyboard, or some other one? I don't have that spinny emoji icon on the left on my A40 with default keyboard (and also don't have this behaviour).

Galaxy A SeriesHey there @summerski
This is definitely quite strange. However, you can delete predictions by holding onto the words and tapping 'OK'.
Another step you can take is to reset the settings, or even clear the predictions by opening the Keyboard on any message > Tap the Settings icon > Reset to default settings. From here you can Reset keyboard settings, and/or Erase personalised predictions.
