I keep getting this message. I don't believe I have any security policy set. A35, OneUI 6, Android 14.

You must have a standard PIN you chose, this is a requirement before using any biometrics. It prompts you for a PIN before you can register your fingerprints.

Yes, but it's doing it constantly. Multiple times an hour, in fact.

I am not employed by Samsung nor do I receive any remuneration as a Samsung Members Star.

I can usually unlock my screen using my fingerprint, but it seems that after a set number of unlocks, my phone then displays the message to enter my PIN instead of my fingerprint due to security policy.  Once I enter the PIN, I will then be able to use my fingerprint again several times before I have to enter the PIN again.  It is a bit annoying after a while.  I have an A16 with OneUI 7 Android 15.
