From my experience, there are benefits but the negatives outweigh the benefits.

I only use it if I'm far away from a charger and starting to look like battery is running a bit low. 🤞

Stand by time definitely increases. Depending Upon the SOT, the battery could still drain quickly. Screenshot is from S22+. In PSM,  CPU speed is capped, but I doubt if you will notice any difference unless you are playing a game.

10 hours vs 11 hours is not much of a difference. Checkmof switching from 5G to 4G helps improve the stand by time.
