Navigate to settings, Lock screen, Always on Display and turn off the "Auto Brightness". You can adjust the brightness by sliding the bar left/right.

Did you try what it says: "you can adjust the brightness manually by double tapping the clock"?

First of all, the A50 has android 11 with one ui 3? My second device an A41 has the same menu as ApostolosT describes, you should have the adjust brightness or auto brightness as menu choice on A50 also. IF you have android 11... do you?

Then probably your device doesn't support this feature.

Don't bother, A50 doesn't have such an ability. You cannot adjust manually AOD's brightness, it's only auto adjusted. Weird but true.
