pop up notifications (top right of screen)

Hi all, I have a Samsung a51 and when I get a WhatsApp message or text message I get a circle on the top right hand corner as like a quick click to respond. How do I turn this off ? I have tried everything. I have a Samsung A40 for work and it doesn't do it on there.

It is really annoying me.

@byronC: If you head to Settings > Advanced Features > Smart Pop Up View, you can toggle off any apps you don't want to receive these expandable icons for. I hope this helps.
