I have a Galaxy A14 and when I take a photo all I can see in the Gallery app is what I have attached below. I can find the photo in the DCIM folder and view it there. But why not in the Gallery app.
If I restart my A14, the photo does then appear in the Gallery app. I have tried all sorts of settings in the camera app - to no avail.
Can anyone help?

I have the same problem. Can't find pictures in Gallery. Frustrating! Though they appear in Google Photos.

They don't appear in Google Photos either for me unless I restart the phone.

My A14 has proved to be just about the worst phone I have ever had. Lots of annoying faults
The model is trying to be something it isn't able to process
Its like a formula one car with a Robin Reliant engine.

I have given up on the Samsung camera app which came pre-installed. I am now using "open camera" from Google Play Store.

I just had an issue with some images copied to my DCIM folder - they don't show up in Gallery, but they will show up in file browsers etc...
What we could use here is an option in Gallery 3-dot icon to 'rescan folders'.
