Hi @lance78, Permission Controller is a built-in service for Android that manages your privacy by controlling the data your apps have access to.
In layman's terms, when you download and install a new app you may get requests for it to access various features of your phone, such as the camera, microphone, location, contacts, etc. Permission Controller is the thing that handles those queries, so it's perfectly safe to leave running on your phone.
Of course, if you'd rather not having it running in the background, that's absolutely fine as well. Just putting your mind at ease. 🙂
