One UI.6 update wrecked my A53 5G 128G device

After downloading the software upgrade to one UI.6 my device, A53 5G 128G, started rebooting randomly and with increased frequency until a week later it would simply not turn on any more. The phone was note even two years old, but no longer under warranty. Samsung support refuses to provide help, and wants me to pay to have the motherboard changed or to buy a new phone; they are simply washing their hands off the situation. I never had any issue with the phone and I see no other possible cause than the software upgrade, so I consider this is Samsung's responsibility and they pushed on me a software update that rendered my phone completely unusable. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestion?

Same Issue to My Samsung A 53 5G handset  ( Handset was purchased in September 2022 ) after installation of new update.

Does your phone also get hot at the top and then freezes and reboots

Yep. I don't have any suggestions. I'm ditching Samsung and android altogether and going to an iPhone. I've had it with the constant problems with android phone and Samsung.

I have the exact same problem as you. I have updated my phone to One UI 6.1 (Android 14) and it frequently crashes after boot (the OS itself crashes), and if there was movement (e.g. Video playing) on screen before and during crash, it would show some wonderful colorful pixels in horizontal rows at one specific place in the screen horizontally. Anywho, I let the phone sit on the charger last night and (i think) it crashed sometime last night, and didn't reboot, so I held the power button for a bit, let go, and it turned on.

Support wanted me to bring it in to be inspected, but I like my phone the way it is..

My samsung a53 kept on restarting itself to a point where it became hectic. My technician recommended motherboard replacement. Seems samsung a53 has critical issues.  This is the only samsung or phone which served me for the shortest period ever!

Mine is behaving exactly the same way, I don't know what to do.

I have no money to buy another phone.

A53 5g has disappointed me

I agree with everything everyone has said. New download has truly blundered these phones. Daily ongoing issues - incessant, and this phone is my medical backup. Shame on you, SAMSUNG!!!!!!
