One UI 6.0 and Android 14

I updated my Samsung A54 to One UI 6.0 and was looking forward to some new Android 14 features:

Two especially would be useful for me:

> Android 14 QPR1 lets you use your phone as a webcam

No sign of this. After the upgrade to One UI 6.0 I still see the old Android 13 USB Menu.

> Android 14 lets you tweak your font size on the go

All I get on One UI 6.0 is "High Contrast Fonts" which does not seem to do much.

Is One UI 6.0 Android 14?

Possibly coming with 6.1

There are going to add more features in the next software update which is the Ui 6.1 but that depends on what model your using.

So my pixel 7 just got the December feature update with the webcam option available.

Not sure if samsung will file suit. If so will probably be with the 6.1 which is just round the corner.

I received the 6.1 update and still no:

So not really Android 14 still.

Camera2 API support still very limited. Which means ALL apps, including WhatsApp and any apps that have inbuilt cameras take degraded pictures. Only the Samsung Camera App can take pics to full quality and resolution.

Maybe I should have bought a Pixel is I was expecting full Android features?

Lesson learned for next time.
