To all users of A51 5g. Has anyone had the update yet for their phones? I heard that Samsung were trying to get Samsung A51/A51 5g devices updated by 10th March. Thanks in advance for any help.

all info still points to March but the days seem to vary. my cousins A51 5G has yet to receive anything and that's a model directly from Samsung.

Thanks if your cousins A51 5g is yet to receive anything then seems like I will be waiting a while. Mine is from ee. Hopw your cousins phone also receives something soon.

EE are typically reasonably fast when it comes to updates, at the least, more so than our other choices...

EE use carrier free models (most do now) but do not put any bloatware in any more hence they are faster to approve OTA updates

usually it's within 7 to 21 days on average after official but you should be lucky enough to get the clean samsung update on the day

Do you use A51 4g or do you use A51 5g? I have heard that some users of A51 4g received uodate on there phones but I havent heard if anybody who uses A51 5g who have received the update for their phones.

@Maria_vm: I have recently checked the Android 11 update schedule via the Samsung Members app, and the A51 5G update appears to have been pushed back to May. This time is likely being used to address any existing performance issues following ongoing testing, to ensure the smoothest possible experience upon release. Apologies for any disappointment this may cause.

Yes I saw that and wasnt the happiest about it but some people are saying there were issues with wifi so Im kind of glad that I have to wait because my phone is my device Im relying on most at the moment because my computer is down, tablet is ok I can just do more on my phone though.

Oh no, some smart guy at Samsung decided to delay it till May. I am furious, like I mean even the A40 gets it before??? what the hell Samsung? the a51 5g has had a beta since december in South Korea. If this is the case, I honestly regret getting this phone over the pixel 4a in some ways. This is just unnaceptable, when you realise the A51 5G was the HIGHEST end A series in 2020 sold in the UK.
