Normally speaking I charge my phone during the day, but in May, while abroad, I wanted to charge it at night and I started getting these odd messages: "Charge will start again (at a certain time in the morning, always different". I presumed that it was some glitch because I was abroad. At home I always charge during the day, but I had to charge it before bed and was horrified to find out that the message still appears and the phone does not charge. The time it shows for starting the charge is always different, even if you check it 10 min. later and the oddest times, like 7.34am, 9.56am, 8.12am, and you name it. Samsung does not seem to know anything about it, but I am sure that this must affect a lot you and it is dangerous too, because you might be left without the use of your phone in situations of danger. Anyway Samsung should not change things without my permission.
First they told me to do a soft reset, even if they didn't seem to know what this is. Didn't work, today another hour on the phone, now had to turn some feature off and try to charge this evening. The crazy thing is that you charge your phone when you have to, why would they stop you from charging at night against your wish? I hope some of you can give me insight in this, because it really is bonkers! Thanks....
