Hi, I am having an immense issue on my phone, which also many other people are encountering I saw online as well. I keep getting a non-stop silent notification which says USB Connector Connected / Disconnected. I have a A51 phone and since 3 days this is going on.
I saw many other people encountered this issue. I have tried many of the proposed solutions but in vain. Here is a list of things I did to tackle it:
-Discharge my phone battery to 0% then full charge to 100% with my original battery charger and TYPE C cable.
-Cleared cache and date of USB Settings
-Cleared cache of Android System
-Boot in safe mode and cleared cache of USB settings
-Master reset
-Wiped cache partition in recovery mode
-Downgraded to previous firmware
-Cleaned USB port with a plastic toothpick
-Put the phone 20 hours in rice and even used hair dryer
-Enabled developer mode and change USB default connection to phone charging only
I tried all these but in vain. The issue still persists. I have heard that even after changing the USB port, the problem comes back later. So, it is not a hardware issue then!
Please help...

Clean the USB port using dried preferably new tooth brush. Drain battery till 0, let it switch off automatically. Next multiple time try to turn on the phone it will fail due to low battery.
Next charge the battery and turn on the phone. Boom it worked for me.
This mainly happen in high raining area like costal area where moisture gets inside the phone. Dry cities shouldn't have any issues unless you purposefully expose it to water.

After reading that dirt might be the problem, I sprayed the USB port with electric contact cleaner and all is good now. No more USB connect disconnect notifications. Thank you for the help.

Hi! I just wanted to respond to this and say that most likely that you will need to replace the whole port. I have same problem with my samsung galaxy a15 and when i asked samsung for help they ignored me. Then i went to repair shop and asked the guy to look at my charging port on my a15. What he told me that port was clean and that whole port together is probably bad. I will leave it on tuesday at repair shop to replace whole port and i hope that it will resolve this issue. I also have issue with it slowly charging when it needs to charge at 25w (super fast charging). I really hope that by replacing the port it will fix my issue and i wont give 40 bucks to guy for nothing to replace my port

I had/have the same problem with my A25. I have now bought a charger port cleaning kit (amazon can be a saviour) & it seems to be OK now.
I live in Wales so obviously it occasionally rains here 🤔 & so will make sure my device is not exposed when I'm in work.
Thanks everyone for great advice here 👏

Thanks. Worked for me on Samsung a32. However had to turn on Transferring files/Android auto in USB default configuration settings afterwards. Otherwise the phone was not detected when connected to PC.
