Not getting notifications new A53

Hi. Just got an A53 and having notifications issues from some but not all apps. YES all notifications are enabled and Ive gone into each app to check everything is ok

I have also reinstalled each app.thst has the issue. Its frustrating as the apps not working are the ones I actually use the most. Thanks

Haha I am. I guess you need to see if you are both using the same apps, the downside to Samsung is a lot of duplication of apps, e.g . messages, browser, photos etc. I have disabled as many Samsung apps as possible and use the Google ones where I can.

I usually set the apps that I use the most to unrestricted to ensure I don't miss the notifications e.g. Outlook, WhatsApp and Messages.

Right I'm going to try this first..Weirdly been getting a trickle of notifications through in the past hour?? Although from Facebook absolutely nothing which is frustrating 😑

Try logging out of FB first, clear the cache and data in the app and then uninstall and reinstall the FB app to see if that sorts it out with the notifications.

Morning Badger42....thank you for all your help yesterday. Still not working 😕 was ready to send back phone and get an old reliable Nokia 😆😆 and got this from Samsung........Good morning, Sarah, at present there is a known issue with certain apps not pushing out notifications and this is being reviewed internally at this present time for the next update.

This is actually across 'Meta' apps such as 'Facebook' and 'Instagram'.

We are working alongside them to find a solution to the situation. ^PB

I have a samsung S21 FE. For the last two weeks, I could not get push notifications from certain apps, such as outlook, team, groupme etc. Maybe this is related to what Samsung reports.

Hi 👋 majority of apps working now but very laggy..made a card transaction this mornin...notification came throughan hour ago! ..but still getting no notifications from Facebook or Messenger....or a random Facebook notification pop up on my phone....noticed when on app the notifications under the bell are random in times too top one will say an hour ago and further down 10 minutes ago?? I got added to a group chat today to a group I didn't even know I was in! and without an invitation. I've missed 3 Messenger messages from family today....I think it's a Facebook bug and despite reporting continuously no fix 🙄 its not the worst thing to happen just frustrating when I had an old in comparison 32gb A21 (imagine not a gadget fiend!) That worked perfectly well albeit the storage issues...and now have an A53 that has caused me nothing but headaches 😆 😆

Oh and I also had an online chat with Samsung yesterday who said there were NO ssues despite being told by their social media team there was!!

i have the same problem. When I login to the IB TWS (Interactive Brokers Trader Workstation) it send me a notification so I can identify myself. Sometimes it works sometimes not. If I do not get a notification then in "connections" I turn on "flight mode" and then turn "flight mode" off again and then the notification comes through. It is annoying. I also went through a whole list of possible solutions with battery settings etc. It seems to be a problem with the phone if you ask me.
