Hi, have you checked with your network? As it maybe a network and not a phone issue. Can you send and receive text messages?

I have I'm not the only one other people have the same issues

Do you gave signal?
Is your device blacklisted?
Is your sim in correctly?
Have you paid the bill?

There are lots of reasons other than it simply being the device.

Have you asked your network provider to send their settings to your phone? Also, is your banks number an obscure one where it is a premium rate number? Have you checked in settings if you have set a cap for your data or calls?
