Hello All,

I have a Samsung A127F and the Screen randomly went off (completely black) I have replaced the whole front screen, as there was a crack in it. However, the screen still will not work 😔. The phone is on as I am receiving calls and can feel it vibrate. I have tried to force restart and feel it vibrate, but no Samsung logo appears. Any ideas at all. I have downloaded an app, but it expects me to be able to get into download mode 😅

Please help 🙏🙏🙏

Hey, did you replace your screen with a 3rd party other than samsung? that may cause issues.

Hey there! The screen is original Samsung but was replaced by third party. It's acting the same as when I gave it, minus the crack 😅

Hi @MellowRay

Unfortunately a Samsung Service Centre may not be able to help now as a Repair has been carried out by an unauthorised engineer thus voiding the 2 year warranty.

Maybe go back to the repair shop that did the repair to ask for assistance @MellowRay

@Esthet unlikely but you can ask a Samsung Service Centre to look at the phone.

Before that try a soft reboot.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care.  😎

I wish you all the best with this.

Thank you for the reply!

After looking through forums, someone mentioned going in a dark room with phone and to shine a torch on it. I did this and could see the Samsung logo when restarting. It is very hard to see and only in the dark with a torch. Is this fixable 🙏🙏
