Maybe you're not in the region the device is intended for? If so, you won't be able to download any updates. In which case you could try forcing the update via Smartswitch whilst connected to PC or laptop.

Yes I have tried to download but message back is software up to date
The software is shown as ui version 5.1 downloaded in October 23. Android version13.

Thanks for your advice which I have followed but unfortunately it has not resolved the issue. The Smart switch check states the software is up to date. My phone continues to flag an update suggestion in the Security and privacy page and even after carrying out a factory reset. I am not sure what else I can do to resolve this issue. It seems this 2021 A22 5G phone after only 3 years service is not scheduled for any further software updates. It looks to me like Samsung have now abandoned this phone and probably wants users to replace but if so in my case they can get lost I think it now time for me to try another make!
