latest software upgrade

Hi I don't know about anyone else but since the latest software upgrade  last week on my A51, I've had nothing but problems. I have done a couple of soft resets but still the problems keep coming. Screen keeps freezing on some apps and I can't hide my floating assistant button  I can only delete it. Done the Samsung chat for help and they couldn't help so said the remote technical team would call me 48 -72 hours later. That was Wednesday.  Still nothing. Come on Samsung please help.

Which update did you download @Marchy23  ?

My latest one didn't cause any issues on my phone.

 

You could try two troubleshooting tips.

1. Turn the phone Off and then from a set series of button presses go into the phone's System files and clear the cache files.

2. Back up and remove any relevant sd card and factory reset.

Thanks for the reply, I just had a notification to say update was available and to install now so I accepted it and downloaded it. I just assumed it was from Samsung as it came up on my home page. I don't want to do a hard reset if possible. can you tell me how to get into system files and clear cache files please.
