When I see a lot of stories in Instagram and then when I want to back to Home, Instagarm crashes. In fact Back Bottom does not work and then Insta crashes.

Hi, and welcome to the community

That sounds like a cache problem.

Settings>Apps. Scroll to Instagram app and tap on it. Tap Storage and tap Clear Cache.

Ensure you're also running the latest version of the app.1722625257761_1722625257752_0.jpg

Ohhh lol. I'm on my tablet (TabS9 Ultra). Easier than fiddling about on the phone.

As well as clearing the apps cache files as suggested by @Robin999  👍, please also try the following troubleshooting step

  • Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I have cleared cash. Even I reinstalled the app. But there is still a problem.

In fact when I click Back-Bottom to exit the Story, the App crashes. But when I pull down the Story, I can exit.

Hi, if you've also tried a cache partition wipe as advised by @@BandOfBrothers below, then please try a hard reset. This will reinitialise hardware and reload essential system files and services.

With the device powered up, Hold the Volume down button and Power button simultaneously for 10 seconds. The screen will go off. Continue to hold buttons until the device vibrates and the Samsung logo appears. Release buttons. Device will reboot. Once done, please check if the issue is resolved.

If that still doesn't fix the issue, then please reach out to the Instagram developers.
