Is there anything in particular wrong with your current one that we may be able to offer tips/help on to help you? Assuming it's Samsung of course

If you're not in a position to buy a handset then we cant really do anything with that.

If you're current device has given up completely and can't be saved then I would recommend looking on Samsung website as they do offer phones to suit budget and still have decent specs - but naturally, don't put yourself in a position where you leave yourself short for other things you need to pay out for and also, don't put yourself in any debt over it.

Of course I acknowledge that you're saying you can't afford one, so I'd revert back to my first question ☺️

Some people take on a phone contract that includes a phone, or they buy one using finance. 

I save my money throughout the year. 

Some highstreet shops buy and sell unwanted phones.

my existing phone is over 4 years old. My depression and anxiety prevents me from visiting local 3 shops to discuss my issues

the sound has gone from all the media side of things. It's cracked and hanging on, but only because of the protective case.  I'm no longer able to view anything with the need for volume of sound

I've waited too long. Sorry for bothering you. I'm scared what will go next. I don't have friends and recently my two daughters have gotten fed up of my behaviour, due to my drinking and they don't understand depression, really.
