Please give more information. Are you saying you can't download the apps or is it that they are not working?

Are you connected to mobile data ?? Plus most use 2 factor verification. To access services.

Whenever I get a new phone ( every 2 years).. I just transfer everything over..this time I only get g mail , and Facebook n messenger say choose a saved password then it says..old password, I'm 70 and don't really understand all this

I'm the wrong side of 65 so have no worries. To get those apps working you need to sign in with the current use name and password you had on your previous phone as this information is not carried over from your previous phone.
