How you get edge working

Do you mean Microsoft Edge browser. If so then you shouldn't of paid for it as it's free?

Don't think so pay 2.38 said it light your phone up when on silent

Yes edge lighting got it from the Samsung app

Try settings > notifications > notification pop up style
