If 4G is being attained then 4G should show in your phone's status bar.
i.e
When you say phone settings @DAVESHADY are you going into Settings then Connections then Mobile Network's and then Network Mode ?
i.e
This is driven by your sim card but as a process of elimination try your sim card in another phone and then see if 4G is attained and available to choose in the phone's settings.
Check your apn settings in your phone to ensure they are correct.
Also check any available Network Service Checker to ensure 4G is available in your area and that there are no mast issues.
Ask your network to check your account and if necessary enquire about changing your sim card via a sim swap. Sometimes sim cards fail.
I wish you all the best with this.
