How to change notifications to show content

How do I change my notifications from being for example "whatsapp one new message" to be showing the messages content

Try going into settings> notifications> lockscreen notifications >show content
Then choose the apps you want to show. See screenshot pictures attached.

Nice one. I did exactly the same at first. Until I noticed WhatsApp wasn't turned on.

This doesn’t work on A55, there is no option to show or hide content. So frustrating. Any tips
