Since before the most recent update my hotspot has been turning off automatically and I've tried Resetting my Network Settings, Rebooting, Updating the System and restarting the phone and none of these have worked so far can anybody help solve the problem?
For anyone coming here in 2025 and can't find the advanced settings.
In your hotspot settings, click on your network name (what you would do if you wanted to change the network name). Scroll down a little bit and you should see an "advanced" option where you can configure the time-out.
Mine turns off if nothing is connected to it....I have mine set in routines to connect to my android unit in car, turns on and off when headunit is turned on and off
Turn the phone off...then hold volume up and power key at same time, release when android appears...use volume down button to highlight wipe cache then power key to select....after a second or 2 it will ask to reboot, confirm with power key
