HELP!!! MOBILE PHONE LOCKED, ASKING FOR PASSWORD: "Your password contains at least 4 characters, including at least 1 letter."

My (wife's) phone (galaxy A52), exactly 1-year-old on this date, suddenly, out of nowhere, started asking for an unlocking password: "Your password contains at least 4 characters, including at least 1 letter."

The phone was not ever locked, neither with PIN, nor fingerprint, nor with a password.

All we can think of is that some OS update happened, and the phone just locked because of a bug in the update procedure.

We tried to unlock it via Find My Phone, but UNFORTUNATELY, even though the phone was located successfully and the service connected to it, but when we tried to unlock, it just said that the remote unlock option was not ON.

This is just terrible. No words to say. Desparate.

Factory reset is out of the question.

What to do?

How to check if I have Find my mobile option available?

type a password of at least 4 characters, one of which is a number or vice versa, one of which is a letter, then type, click the word "done" on the right of the keyboard

Samsung is going thru another update as of this weekend & once again I am locked out of my A13. Tech Sppt told me to TAKE IT TO A SAMSUNG STORE IN MY AREA AS THEY HV THE SOFTWARE 2 UNLOCK THE PHONE.  I set this up with a pin which I keep in an excel spreadsheet along w/other user id's & pass. No go. Find my phone found the phone, tells me I M logged in ... so what! 2 yrs ago i wz locked out for 3 days!! When this A54 no longer performs, I will go to a different manufacturer.

I use many functions on the A13 even tho it is no longer hooked up 2 a carrier. When i m on the fone, i use the voice recording. I have several photos on it; use it like a tablet. This is really tiking me off.  I am scared to death that one morning, just like 2 years ago when samsung had an update & required a 2 step, my phone was off for 3 days. I had a terrible time proving to them it was my phone. my carrier had to get involved. one has to wonder what is wrong with their tech/software programmers.

"I totally understand"  I'm experiencing this exact problem with my Samsung Z fold, I never had a password.... I'm up to 24 hour wait periods to insanely try to figure out a password THAT I NEVER HAD.... A Samsung rep even stated for me to enter my Samsung PW...THAT DID NOT WORK, LOCKING ME OUT FOR another 24hrs then when I asked can she remove the 24 hr wait period cause I simply did wrong info she instructed she said there was nothing she can do EMOTIONLESS!!!! ....it's been one month now and I'm still at it,my T-Mobile carrier can't help and absurdly Samsung REFUSE to and WON'T HELP when they CLEARLY CAN HELP... giving the only option of a factory reset which is a NO! for me I have deceased loved ones memories in my phone plus Soo much more VIP info THAT I NEED,I've cried Soo much to the point where its turnt into Lividness and Confusion.....they gave me false hope sending me to one of they Samsung Techs whom clearly stated to me "nothing they can do" only a factory reset. I'm Super FRUSTRATED.. LIVID and SAMSUNG dont give A *****! For One....SAMSUNG why can't you be of help to your customers in this situation being that you are the actual manufacturer? Especially when we have all the valid proof of ownership? Why would you guys take away the remote unlock feature????? Making your customers suffer with the fraud bad guys ? Why can noone even you guys talk to Google? You guys can at least disable the 24 hr wait periods???? This is INSANE! There is No Way Samsung shouldn't be able to fix this for they customers just MAKES NO SENSE to me. .... YOUR CUSTOMERS trusted you and spent our hard earned cash with you guys, yet you not  trusting and putting in the work to help your customers in these type situations????? There's no way you shouldn't be able to fix this problem for your customers... TOTAL BS! SAMSUNG Its Not Right, MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL. Come up with something to HELP US IN THIS SITUATION or you just get our cash then saying...Welp We Got You Guys Cash Now ...Not Our problem Nothing More We Can Do, Sorry? aka "SCREW YOU WE DON'T CARE ABOUT OUR CUSTOMERS THAT MUCH"....

(Fix This Samsung) "Expeditiously" Please.
