Does anybody have any problems since the new update?
My phone updated August 31 and since then the phone randomly ends calls. It's really, really annoying and frustrates me.

Good afternoon @Durian,

I can imagine that's very inconvenient and of course it shouldn't happen.

Can you test if it still happens when Safe Mode is enabled? https://bit.ly/2BbETqL

If it still happens I'll suggest that you reset your phone.

Let me know!

Hello @Tessa
I found something else - Bixby is interfering. Something triggers the window 'complete action with Bixby or Google' and the volume appears on the screen. Over and over and over again. It's mad!! That is what is screwing up my phone calls..Screenshot_20210922-111054_Android System_15133.jpg

Good morning Durian,

Perhaps is Bixby Routines. Can you turn it off completely and see if that makes a difference? If yes then there's a setting in your Bixby Routines causing this.

Read the following page on our website: https://bit.ly/2XJu7DX

Thank you so much. But the page doesn't say how to turn it off 🤔 I opened the app and it asked if I wanted to activate it so I'm guessing it is turned off.
I have to say that I'm appalled by this bixby thing. No idea what it is but yesterday when the window kept popping up like popcorn I freaked out and tried to remove all permissions in the settings but couldn't 😭
Couldn't uninstall, couldn't shut it down. The bixby apps have more control over my phone than I do. That's not right.

You're welcome! You can turn it off through: Settings > Advanced features > Bixby Routines.

Bixby is a feature that you can't remove from your phone, but it shouldn't and won't control your phone. That's why I think it has to do with the Bixby Routines. Let's check that first 🙏

Found it and it looks like I found it yesterday and turned it off already 😅 Screenshot_20210923-135546_Settings_15160.jpg

Nice! Have you experienced it since?

If yes then I suggest to clean up both Bixby and the Phone application. You can do that by going to: Settings > Apps > Select app > Storage > Clear data and Clear cache.
