Hate new One IU update!

Who comes up with such changes! Hideous colours now. Messed up my personalised chat room colours for texts. Text font options etc not as good. Widgets changed etc etc etc. Nothing good or improved. I'm all for improvements BUT as an option not instead of! Can I reverse the update!!!!!!!

Quite a few members on here at least have fed back their disappointment with One UI6.

Some complain of tech issues.
Some of, how shall we say, aesthetics.
Some despise the new emojis...

The list goes on

Quite a few are saying the same.

For myself, I had issues in my S23U. I joined beta at stage 3 and followed the beta to the end then stable. Internet, browsing and apps all slow, painfully slow. A Wipe Partition Cache fixed that.

Emojis don't concern me, they are what they are.

Text font I 10000% agree with you. Poor options.

I said from the day I got beta 3 that the changes are negligible and not worth stressing over / waiting for and many shot me down for that view but now....... So many complaining.

Overall, a poor Android update made worse for many by Samsung UI over the top.

I still do, although I will take aim at Samsung if they get it wrong.

For myself One UI6 is ok. Not having any significant issues. But I'm also mindful that isn't across the board.

Apple has a poor reputation with quality of updates too, far worse than Android I believe from what I read.

I'm no tech person. It's about aesthetics & I like consistency & took me ages to get my phone the way I wanted. Can you help pls! The notification icons at very top of the homescreen are white & I can barely see them now. Left side is app notifications. Right side battery, wifi etc

Use goodlock or just use the 'use palette colour for.icons' for the notification icons.

I believe one ui 6 was rushed. It was more about animations and stuff than anything else.

The one to look for would be the one ui 6.1 starting with the S24 ultra.
