Hello Samsung Team and Community,
I’ve been using my Samsung Galaxy A73 5G for the past 3 years without any issues. But just two weeks after updating to One UI 7, a green line suddenly appeared in the center of my screen. There was no physical damage, drops, or mishandling involved — the issue started on its own after the update.
When I visited the Samsung service center, they asked me to contact customer care. When I contacted customer care, they told me to go back to the service center. When I emailed Samsung support, they again told me to visit the store. I'm stuck in a loop, and no one is taking ownership of the issue.
To make things worse, the service center said that only S-series phones are eligible for free screen replacement for green line issues. For my A73, they are demanding ₹10,000 for screen replacement.
Why should I pay for a problem that clearly came from a Samsung software update?
Is support only given to people who buy flagship phones?
I trusted Samsung and have invested in the entire Samsung ecosystem, but this experience has truly disappointed me. What’s the point of buying a premium device if the company won’t take responsibility for software-induced faults?
Please take this matter seriously and offer a free screen replacement for A-series users as well. This is not a user-caused problem — it’s a hardware issue triggered by your own update.
If this isn’t resolved, I’ll be forced to raise the matter to the Consumer Forum of India and I will not recommend Samsung devices to anyone.
Other brands like OnePlus offering lifetime free screen replacements for green line issues. Why not Samsung?

Issue: Green line appeared after 2 weeks of update
