Gemini image storage.

So, i downloaded Gemini, and asked it to create a scene, i liked it so i saved the scene, only to discover it's not in my album (gallery), nor listed in downloads, images in the Samsung my files. I asked Gemini, but it doesn't keep old conversations, 🤔 maybe something the developers can work on in future. Any idea where it went folks? Xxx

@TetrusB: Please try opening the Gemini app via the Apps screen on your device, tap your profile in the top right, then check 'Gemini Apps activity' and 'Saved info' to see if the image is accessible from here.

@TetrusB , when saving Gemini images, be sure to see a pop-up confirmation that the image has been saved. Gemini saves its images to  folder Internal storage/Pictures in the Gallery, and that it is indeed a Gemini AI generated image is indicated by the Google AI watermark in the bottom right of the image. Also, any photos taken, edited images, screenshots or AI generated images are located in the Recent folder in the Gallery.

Gemini saves chats only to subscribers

Yeah, checked all them places, it did have the "ai" watermark on the bottom right of the picture, thanks though. 😉

Hi Andrew, yes i can view the generated image in gemini apps activity, but i can't save it, thanks though.

Next time you save a picture (long press on image), tap open and see where it takes you

Old conversations with Gemini can be retrieved, just Gemini can't access the data from them in a new conversation.
Open the Gemini app. Press the chat icon in the top left, and your recent chats will be listed, select the chat the image is in, hold down on the image and press save.
