Galaxy store pushes ads...any idea how to stop

I have had my a55 push adverts to me from the galaxy store a couple of times, just moved off a xiaomi, one of the reasons was to escape ads everywhere, any idea how to stop an app that isn't listed under apps from sending ads?

I think the Op is suggesting that the ads are on the Samsung Galaxy Store.... Not 3rd party apps.

Open up the Galaxy Store app itself, and go into it's options. Disable the "Get marketing and coupons via push notifications and email"

1. Open Galaxy Store 2. Install Good Lock 3. Open Good Lock 4. Install NotiStar 5. In NotiStar open the three dot menu and click settings 6. Click application list and scroll to "Galaxy Store" and disable notifications

As far as I know UK phones from Samsung dont normally have ads

Interesting....so firstly boy am I dumb, I could not find the app galaxy store because it is just called store, slow on the uptake.


However disabling "gets news and special offers" just gets "an processing the page you requested", awesome

Cracked it, the link via the galaxy store to "settings...Samsung account....security and privacy....get unwanted s***e" does not work but manually going through settings etc works fine.
