Galaxy A52 screen won't reponse to touch AND weird icon appearing

I have had a Galaxy A52 5G for a few years and haven't have any problems other than the back adhesive coming off. Now my phone's screen won't response to touch. After restarting multiple times, it responded as normal for a while then went back to not working after I charged it a bit.  I have also noticed that it won't show the volume bar on the lock screen when I press volume buttons. I don't think it is a hardware issue because it is also showing a weird icon I have not seen before. The icon also disappeared when I got it working that one time.

The icon is a circle, and within is a silhouette of android mascot's head peaking out from the top (while upside down). Then shows a lot of small dots like a stars of galaxy. I drew a picture because I can't take a picture of it.

Okay, so I fixed the issue.

After restarting it multiple times, it finally started to work, then it kept clicking the home and back buttons on the bottom of the screen, along other things. I thought it was malware at first, but then eventually it died down. I opened the phone up and found blue wire on the side of the battery connecting the top and bottom sections was constrained, likely from the back cover when I reapplied the adhesive. It could have been something else, but I'm not sure. Honestly I'm not 100% sure I fixed it but it stayed working even after I restarted it multiple times while confirming no random button presses. 

Also, I caught a glimpse of the icon's description before it disappeared saying something along the lines of "you phone as restarted, may take time for notification to show up."
