Galaxy A33 won't charge immediately

When I plug my Galaxy A33 into the socket to charge, there is no response. I have to unplug the charger and plug it back in a second time before the phone starts to charge. Anyone who recognizes this problem?

Today it charged as it should again, so it seems to either have been a bug or an issue that comes and goes. I'll try to see if I can find a pattern.

Phone has been charging alright this week, except for 1 or 2 times I had to unplug and replug to start charging. But just now my phone stopped charging randomly at 90% while it was still plugged in. After unplugging and replugging it continued charging. It seems bizarre to me that it would be the charger as it worked fine up until 90%? It's as if the phone doesn't always recognize it?

Do you also experience this when you have started your phone in Safe Mode? With the Safe Mode you start the device without installed third-party apps, the device then only boots with standard applications. That's quite difficult to check as the issue doesn't occur with every charging (let's say twice or three times a week). So I would have to restart my phone every time I charge it for like a week and see if it still occurs

You can also check and test the USB-port on your phone. You can also test a few things via the Samsung Members app. Open the Members app and go to Support, choose Diagnoses and select the USB test. How is the result here?

It depends. When I start the test and plug in the phone, sometimes the green charging circle pops up immediately and the test result is normal. Other times I plug in the phone, but the green charging circle doesn't pop up and the test result says action is required and to run the test again. When I run the test again, sometimes the green charging circle appears and the test result is normal (but after 2 or 3 tests and thus with a delay between 15 and 45 seconds between plugging in and start charging). Other times the green charging circle doesn't appear, test keeps saying action is required. When I plug out the phone and plug it in again, it usually works. So up until now my phone has always charged eventually, but I don't think this is the way to go ...

As my phone is still under warranty (bought it via Proximus as a joint offer with subscription in August 2022) a visit and reparation in the experience center would be free?
