I've not used your particular model of phone @PE73R so can't compare mine to yours.
Some games can be resource heavy and push the phone close to it's limits depending on which game is being played.
Sometimes closing everything else down such as open apps and clearing Ram can help more more available resources to the game.
Unfortunately some mid range phone's may not be able to run certain games as smoothly as we'd like.
Also some phone's have game settings.
