Fortnite? Looking to buy Galaxy A51 but will it run?

Hi

I'm considering ordering a Galaxy A51 for my lad. Looks like a great phone and good value, however, it is essential that it is capable of running Fortnite! I've looked around and some say it will run and others say it won't.

Can anyone confirm for me please whether the A51 will actually run Fortnite?

(not sure if it's relevent but we're in the UK)

Hi @HaloJones. Just seen this video and it can run it but I wouldn't expect Galaxy S10 levels of performance. I think the settings can be tweaked a bit so you can prioritise framerate or visuals.

That does make it seem OK and if it does work we can always tweak the settings for best performance. We know it won't be 100% but he's very good at accepting compromise - something is beter than nothing! 

Unfortunately though there are other videos that say otherwise, so still a little confused and have no idea what an apk is that some talk about...

It will run.. just lag as hell

Yeah, it will run but the experience will not be great because it uses a low end exynos processor which has been criticized for lacking performance in the past. If you are fine with another device, a galaxy S10e or OnePlus 6t for a similar price would offer much better performance in gaming.
