Fast charging

This has stopped on my samsung AO5s. It worked in the evening then not the next day. I have tried various things I have seen online. I believe it did an update to 6.1 and this may have caused the issue.

Is it just fast charging or all charging which has stopped?

6.1 was released over a year ago, so I'd highly assume that isn't the issue.

Are you using an official/known brand? Both the cable and plug need to support 25W charging.

Make sure fast charging is enabled in settings.

Go to the Samsung Members app > Support > Diagnostics. Any issues?

Simple soft reboot- hold power and volume down until phone restarts.

Clear cache partition.

Make sure port is free from debris.

Worst case may be time to contact customer support

Yes to the charger. I had assumed it was an issue with u6.1 as I checked the latest update which was the night it stopped working. Then read online this update had caused some issues. My EE shop has offered to send phone away but it will be for 6 days.

Sending it for servicing could be a quick and easy solution
