Emergency call

Last night, I sleep on my left side and my phone goes on the bedside drawer on the right. listening to music to go to sleep 😴 I decided I wanted to turn down the volume, so I reached over to turn down the music with my right hand without looking and I pressed the power button Five times and called emergency services😃

I did hang up and all was ok no phone back calls whatsoever

Has this happened to anyone else

The number is set to 112 for some reason I don't know

112 = Emergencies Only
It is now used by over 100 countries around the world for emergency calls. In the UK, it connects to the same services as 999 and works in exactly the same way. Neither number has priority over the other, so you may use either number to reach the emergency services.

I've just turned on the swip up feature to call. Thank you. I didn't know that

My emergency call number is the same 112. I think it's set by the network providers. Normally in the UK you would ring 999 👏

2am this morning I was woken by voices I thought someone had broken into my home but it was Emergency services saying my phone had called them via the hard fall my phone was on bedside table and had not moved ie fallen on floor how can this happen I have turned  this feature off

@Hugzel: Were you wearing a Galaxy Watch at the time? If so, please confirm the model number of the Watch, and I will look into this further for you. 

If this isn't applicable, please confirm the model number and current Android version of your phone, located in Settings > About phone, and I will explore any possible solutions for you.

Hi I was wearing my samsung watch at the time its a Samsung Fit only had it 4 days
