Disappearance of Camera Folder

Hello,  I’m reaching out for assistance with an issue I encountered on Samsung A53. While transferring videos from camera folder to laptop via USB, camera folder suddenly disappeared. I copied several large video files to my laptop, and after that I deleted some of these files from the phone. 

The folder's thumbnails started rearranging but didn’t display correctly. I tried to refresh the folder, but it got stuck. I then restarted the file explorer on my laptop and tried to access the folder again, but the thumbnails still wouldn’t show up. Finally, after 10 minutes I removed the USB cable, and to my surprise, the camera folder vanished completely from my phone and does not appear in the trash.

I’ve checked for hidden files and tried using recovery software like Easus Mobisaver and Dr. Fone, but unfortunately, I haven’t been able to recover any files. Could the files still be intact on the phone but currently inaccessible, and if so, what steps can I take to recover them?

HI and welcome, best to always copy don't move, once done and checked then delete.

Is it internal memory or an SD Card, the latter usually corrupt if worked too hard.
