Hi,

I used to have the'Device Care' app shortcut on my home screen. It is no longer there. There is no option now to add it to my homescreen from the app itself.

How to fix?

I have tried a reboot of the phone to no avail.

Thank you

Also try > Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files. There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too.

I've just checked and the Device Care widget is still available on my side which leads me to assume Samsung having taken this option away.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate to ask.  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Hi there @BandOfBrothers

I got the issue sorted using the "Add to Homescreen" option from the app itself. It seems I overlooked this option the first time I tried it.

Thank you again. 🥰
