Chrome taking 2 times to open

Basically, I have an a14 4g and when I open chrome, it crashes the first time no matter what, but when I reopen the app it works fine the second time. Its only been happening for the past few days, help solving this would be appreciated

Have you tried clearing the chrome apps cache then restart the device?

Yes, Ive restarted my phone, cleared the cache, the unnessecary data, I dont know what to try anymore

Well I checked google play and it didnt tell me to update so i assume it is yeah

Could try a force stop on the chrome app.

You could try wiping the phones cache partition in recovery mode. You could also download good guardians and run app booster. You will find good guardians in the galaxy store. You could also just try a reboot holding power and volume down button together until the device turns off itself.

Cant find the app, how do I get in recovery mode? Will it have any side effects on my phone?
