Charging Doesn’t Work After Installing UI 6.1 Update

Hi so I recently installed the 6.1 UI update and now my charger barely works. I've had it plugged in for the last half hour and it's gained 6 percent. It has been like this for the past few days. The charger I'm using supports fast charging and still works when plugged into another phone. The system says it'll take around 12 full hours of charging to gain 100% battery.

Is the data cord and charging brick a non Samsung set up @KarlJones1  ?

Maybe the updage has broken fast charging using them if so 🤔 

A good troubleshooting step is > Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's } 

And try a oem Samsung cord that supports fast charging, and fast charging brick.

I've had that problem with my phone. It once showed 28 hours until it would be fully charged. Unplugging it and replugging it works for me, also make sure the charger lead is firmly attached to your phone.

Similar issue - update installed first thing today and using OEM Samsung fast chargers and leads not charging whatsoever. My partner's Samsung phone is fine changing on both fast chargers.

It is 100% the update because mine does it now too! No charge, from a trusty charger that I've used forever. But since the update my phone charges randomly and i have to restart my phone to get it to charge again.

Yes i have the same issue as you, it is only fixed when i restart my phone i have , samsung A25 5G, newly bought, new charger and everything ,

I don't know why samsung does not fix these issue on time?

Also the samaung membership does not send log files when i report issue.

Yes same issue, its been a month now, why samsung is being lazy fixing this major issue?

Also have it on S21, girlfriends S23 has it too.. will Samsung ever address this?

my A15 recently  got the 6.1 one ui update and it wont even fast charge SAMSUNG has let me down for the 80th time I'm contemplating getting an iphone no other android phone does this BUT SAMSUNGS

Didn't fix it at all.All it does is give me a notification *charger isn't compatible*wont get off of my screen samsungs software is a huge ratsnest to fix
