Cannot factory reset my phone in the settings or in the boot

My phone doesn't show the option to do a factory reset in the settings, but also not in the boot. Does someone know how I can get the option back?

Hi @Aileentjuh, and welcome to the Samsung UK Community. 

Truth be told, this is a pretty unusual issue. If you click here we have an online guide that may provide you with further assistance, in particular the section named "Factory reset via SmartThings Find". 

I'd also suggest ensuring that your phone is running on the latest software version by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. 

If you could please give these steps a try when you next have your phone and keep us updated on how you get on, it'd be much appreciated.

If nothing helps including Smart Things Find think you will need to get in touch with Support in your region or visit a Samsung Service centre/Experience store.
